Terms of Service

By accessing or using Sentural, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Sentural on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Sentural is intended for use by businesses and their authorized personnel in connection with financial transaction security. It is not intended for use by individuals for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Sentural provides an AI-powered security layer that analyzes financial commands and surfaces verdicts and explanations to support customer decision making. Sentural is not a bank, payment processor or financial institution, and does not itself move, hold or custody funds.

Sentural analyzes financial commands submitted by or on behalf of the customer across signals including identity, behavior, beneficiary, amount, timing, context and history, in order to identify potential fraud, manipulation or anomalous activity.

Verdicts, risk signals and explanations produced by Sentural are generated using AI models and reflect an assessment based on available information at the time of analysis. They are not guarantees that a transaction is, or is not, fraudulent, and should be used to support — not replace — the customer's own judgment and controls.

Use of the Sentural API is subject to any additional documentation, rate limits and usage policies provided by Sentural, which may be updated from time to time.

Sentural may integrate with third-party financial systems, banks, payment processors and other platforms at the customer's direction. Sentural is not responsible for the acts, omissions or availability of third-party systems.

Sentural acts only within the automation level and authorization configured by the customer. Actions such as allowing, holding, blocking or escalating a transaction are taken according to the customer's configured policies, not independently by Sentural.

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by attempting to circumvent its security controls, submitting data you are not authorized to submit, or using the platform in a way that violates applicable law.

Sentural maintains security measures designed to protect the platform and the information processed through it, including encryption, authentication, access controls and audit logging.

Sentural retains all rights, title and interest in the platform, including its underlying technology and models. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Sentural's intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the platform as permitted.

Each party agrees to protect the other party's confidential information using at least a reasonable standard of care, and to use it only for purposes permitted under these Terms or a related agreement.

Sentural will use reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Sentural does not warrant that its analysis will detect every instance of fraud, manipulation or anomalous behavior.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentural will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds resulting from a financial transaction, arising out of or related to use of the platform.

You agree to indemnify and hold Sentural harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

Either party may terminate use of the platform in accordance with the applicable agreement. Sentural may suspend access where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the platform.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable under the customer's agreement with Sentural, without regard to conflict of law principles.
